OUR
PROGRAMS
We empower individuals with remarkabilities to grow, connect, and change how communities see neurodiversity.
FRIEND TO FRIEND
Friend to Friend is a free weekly theater program for youth and young adults with remarkabilities that provides something many lose access to over time: a place to belong, grow, and be truly seen.
For individuals with special needs, enrichment opportunities like the arts are often the first to disappear. After graduation from public education, many are left without meaningful spaces to continue building social, cognitive, and motor skills or to feel connected to a community.
Friend to Friend exists to change that.
In partnership with CenterPoint Theatre, our founding sponsor, the program brings participants together in a supportive, joyful environment where they explore acting, singing, movement, and storytelling. Through performance, participants build confidence, form lasting relationships, and share their unique gifts with the community, helping shift how neurodiversity is understood and celebrated.
Celebration
Development
Expression
Friend to Friend creates a welcoming community where youth and young adults with remarkabilities are valued for who they are. Participants build friendships, experience teamwork, and find a lasting sense of belonging beyond traditional school settings.
Through acting, singing, dance, and movement, participants build confidence, strengthen social skills, and develop self‑expression. The program also supports physical and cognitive growth, including coordination, memory, and imagination.
Friend to Friend empowers participants to take the stage and share their unique gifts with the community. Performances help build confidence while shifting how audiences see neurodiversity, focusing on strengths and humanity rather than limitations.
